NOEL WEIN HAM STD PROPELLER $8,200 OFFERED FOR SALE This is an historic 103" propeller from the early days of Alaska aviation. Originally used on Noel Wein’s Stinson with a Wright J-5 engine, this propeller powered the Stinson while Wein made his name as the premier Alaska bush pilot. During the late 1920s and early 30s this aircraft was the principal plane of Wein Alaska Airlines. The propeller was last overhauled in 1941 in Wein’s Alaska Airlines shop. Eugene Frank purchased the prop in the early 1950s along with a Ford Trimotor that he also brought back from Alaska. The hub is a 1518, the blades are 1519s, and all are inspected. UC-78 COWL MOUNT RING FOR W670 $550 SOLD!! This is a complete mounting ring to adapt a UC-78 Cowl on a Continental W-670 engine. I purchased it new from the late Tom Flock, Waco Guru & Master Craftsman, in '04 to mount the cowl on my 220 powered UPF-7. I'm repowering to a Jacobs & using the Jake baffle ring setup from the UC-78 to mount the cowl. This is a complete set of machined rocker box standoffs that mount the rolled 6061 aluminum ring to the engine in a floating bolt-up arrangement that allows for heat expansion of the engine.
