BASIC & COMPETITION AEROBATIC TRAINING
We offer aerobatic training to fit your needs. Whether you’re new to acro and just want to learn how to fly some basic rolls and loops or are interested in diving into the world of aerobatic competition, or anything in between, we can help you get there. Basic aerobatic training includes spins, aileron rolls, loops, and onward from there. The Super Decathlon is capable of competition aerobatics up to the sportsman level. Competition maneuvers include various spins (usually from one to one and a half turns), slow rolls, hammerheads, Immelmans, and several other maneuvers. We also focus on managing entering the aerobatic box and box position.

Hello. My name is Chris and I’m an airplane nerd.
Ok, now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, a little bit about me. Ever since I experienced my first aerobatic ride in the back seat of a T-6 Texan as a teenager, I've been hooked on aerobatics. In 2008, I earned my pilot's license and quickly followed that up with a tailwheel endorsement. From there, I moved on to basic aerobatic training in Citabrias and Decathlons.
In 2016, I achieved my dream of flying a Pitts Special and love to fly the Pitts in regional aerobatic contests on the east coast. Flying these amazing airplanes upside down has become one of my greatest passions.
I have a commercial pilot's license with instrument rating and became a flight instructor in August of 2022. Also, I am a licensed aircraft mechanic. Helping others discover the thrill of flying is a truly rewarding experience for me.
