Amazing Grace is a 1943 PT-26 Mk.1 Cornell that has a rich history. For the last nine years she has been flown by Grounded No More Veteran Flight Lift. We are a 501(C)(3) Charity working as a Veteran Ministry.
To date we have flown 652 veterans Sadly, during our annual inspection we found the right-wing surface had separated along a couple of ribs, and two small cracks in the center section. Someone with wood experience could fix, but it is over my head and budget. TT3400 SMOH 268. New brakes, ADSB in and out, new radio and Xpndr. Possible donation to museum a possibility. 1929 Wright J6-5 powered KR34C project. One of seven remaining. One hangs in the Smithsonian. Built as the stock market crashed. Flown 20 years and dry stored. Disassembled and in dry storage since. Last maint entries show 804 TTAF&E. HS G/A prop. A&PIA owned. Bought with great intentions but time and space dictate passing it on.
