The new 627 Goliath is amazing. There is no 80hp Aircraft engine that can touch it in power & reliability. There will NEVER be a 4 cycle that can compete with it. My power to weight ratio can not be achieved with a 4 cycle. We use the Rotax 582, the Ducati ignition, & the same Bing 54 carbs. With the same 64mm stroke but a 79mm bore lets the piston speed be slower & the bore size also increases the size of the ports without raising the port hight. Raising the ports like the Rave valve do increases the rpm to get max hp. Were 80hp at 6800 rpm. Send in your 582 & $3675 & get back a 80hp 627.
