Rotax Rick is now selling Simonini engines. These engines from the ground up were designed for Aircraft use. There redline is low 5800 rpm with globs of low rpm torque. Thats why the Rave engines are so good. When the valve is down the cylinder port hight is correct for the 5500 rpm range that 2 stroke powered Aircraft run 95% of the time. Designed for max low rpm torque. Forget complicated overpriced 4 strokes & forget facing an overhaul that will cost more than this complete package. Most 2 stroke problems come from poor installations & operation. When done correctly there a amazing engine.
